Explore & More Children’s Museum Elevator Door Mural

When Explore & More Children’s Museum in Buffalo, NY invited me to collaborate with them on a unique mural project, I couldn’t have been more thrilled! This project tapped into my love for drawing playful, quirky characters and pushed me to design a piece that fit within some unique parameters. Their desire was to have me illustrate a group of whimsical farm animals who appeared to be crammed into a glass elevator. The goal was to have this design printed on vinyl and installed on their 4th floor elevators doors, adjacent to their Farm to Fork and new Play & Learn Hive exhibits. It features their famous “Betty Lou Moo” cow, a playful pig, a silly goose and a game of cat & mouse, as well as some tiny details like bumble bees, a spider and a clumsy yellow bird. We also included a partial wall wrap featuring a barn exterior and themed signage with hand drawn lettering. The entire process from start to finish was such a joy to work on.

Traffic Box Aquarium

When I read about the traffic box mural initiative in the Town of Amherst, New York, I had the idea to convert a traffic box into a playful aquarium for passers by to enjoy. The design features brightly colored coral and seaweed sitting in a sandy base as well as schools of tiny fish, some jellyfish and a few cute and quirky larger fish swimming around in their bubbly space. This finished piece can be found at the corner of Main St. & Spindrift Dr. in Amherst, NY.

Under The Sea Mural

Gleason Family Chiropractic approached me about illustrating and hand-painting a kid-friendly mural for a 5’ x 5’ nook in one of their exam rooms. This was a partial coverage, 3-wall mural, with the wall base previously painted Sherwin Williams “Sea Salt”. I used that color as my background and built a subtle color palette designed to compliment the existing room aesthetic.

Walmart - Rome, NY

Collaborating with Now Art LA and Walmart, I had the chance to illustrate a mural for the Walmart store located in Rome, New York. The mural was designed to capture the essence of Rome, NY, where history and adventure converge. This illustration invites viewers to experience Rome's charming landscapes and rich heritage. Copper tones paired with rich blues reflect the industrial history and natural beauty for which Rome is known.
